The Herndon Festival is one of the few major festivals in the Washington metropolitan area that does not charge admission, making it an affordable outing for just about everyone. We offer a wide variety of national-level entertainment as good as or better than any other area festival and it's accessible to all. In addition, there are creative hands-on art activities for children, three stages of entertainment, and two spectacular fireworks displays! We even offer a free shuttle bus to help people get to and from the festival area. Most of Herndon's community and cultural organizations participate in the festival, using the event as an effective annual fundraiser to support local worthwhile causes.
