The 2010 Herndon Festival is a four day event (June 3-6), with over 20 food vendors on Saturday & Sunday. The Festival, with an anticipated attendance of over 80,000 people, includes 3 stages of entertainment, hands on children’s art, carnival, business expo, arts & crafts, 10k/5k run and of course, a wide variety of delicious food.

Herndon Festival food vendors are accepted with priority given to previous vendors (2009) in good standing and restaurants within the Town of Herndon. Each year we have a limited number of openings for new vendors. We do limit the number of vendors and the types of foods to aid the success and variety of food offered.

There might be an opportunity for single item food service on our Herndon Municipal Center Lawn. Information will be provided as festival plans are developed.  Interested Vendors for this space should fill out the food vendor application and if such spaces become available they will be contacted by the Festival Committee and a contract for this section will be mailed out.  Prices and times of operation for this single item food service area have not yet been established.

More information:

• Festival location is in downtown Herndon, Virginia (near Dulles airport, approx. 25 miles from Washington, DC) on streets and parking lots. Herndon Festival is in its 30th year and is a community event produced by the Town of Herndon Parks & Recreation Department.
• 2010 Herndon Festival Food Vendor Fees:
  • 10' x 15' $825 plus 12% over $2,000 gross sales
  • 10' x 20' $995 plus 12% over $2,000 gross sales
• Each vendor is provided one 20 amp (110 v) circuit. Additional electrical outlets are $50 each.
• If interested in applying for Thursday and Friday night. There is an additional $450 per booth cost for Thursday and Friday nights (acceptance limited).
• No generators or trailers are permitted.
• All drinks must be served in 16 oz. or 22 oz. Festival cups, to which you are committed from your application.
• Clean-up deposit is $250.
